Fedora 30 (See What's New)

The Fedora Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Fedora 30 Beta, the next big step on our journey to the exciting Fedora 30 release. I just installed the Fedora Workstation 30 Beta yesterday and so far things are looking great.

Zorin OS 15 (See What's New)

The Zorin OS team has published a new beta release which offers enhanced performance and a preview of features to come in Zorin OS 15. The beta is based on Ubuntu 18.04.2 and includes a night mode, the ability to connect to Android devices to sync notifications, share files and send text messages between the two devices. Flatpak support has also been added to the distribution and is available by default.

Protect our files with encryption in Linux

To be sure that no one can violate our archives, let us rely on one of the most powerful applications created for this purpose: VeraCrypt. Nowadays the security of our files is increasingly at risk. Not only must we beware of other possible users of our computer or those connected to the network, but also threats that are continuously present on the Internet. So if we want to make sure that no one pokes their noses in our most precious files, we just have to use encryption, making them so unreadable for anyone but us.
